Danny was an important person in our development of the Marsh Fork Memorial Park that all of us are so proud. We were successful in raising a lot of money to develop and build the Memorial Park and he helped us with his many emails to Alums in his data base.
Danny loved his Marsh Fork High School and spent many hours in searching the history of our beloved High School from 1925 until 2003 when it was closed by the Raleigh County Board of Education in a tough and long fight.by our .alums.
We will miss Danny’s many emails to our Alums and hopefully someone will step up and take over what Danny did for many years which was so important to us Alums of our beloved High School, Marsh Fork Hig
...h School.
Sincerely,
Jimmy Farley, President
Marsh Fork High School Alumni Association, Inc., 1960.

I always thought Danny was so cool. After school I didn't keep up with cousins. Maybe I should have. I am sorry for your loss.

Carol,
Sorry to hear of your loss, Danny and I grew up together as next door neighbors, although he was a couple of years older, we shared a lot of time together building model airplanes and flying them in Birchton, West, Va. coal camp. His dad was our Scout Master and allowed
us to make lamps and other items on his lathe.
We renewed our friendship again at West Virginia Tech
as I also graduated from there. He will certainly be missed by the Alumni as he was our High School
Historian and his communication skills aided our efforts
in building the High School Memorial Park.

Best wishes to you and your family.
